Recently, I had the opportunity to meet students and officials involved with the 3 Day Start Up program at the University of Texas. Over the course of a weekend, students from various backgrounds come together with with a goal of starting a new business. Sid Upadhyay (left) Michael Koetting (center) and Gaurav Sanghani had an idea to start a social media application for students. 3 Day Start Up helped them get their business, hoot.me, off the ground.
