Los TexManiacs and Flaco Shine Under the Star

Grammy awarding winning band Los TexManiacs, along with special guest Flaco Jiménez, performed Friday evening at the Bullock Museum as part of the Music Under the Star series. Despite another 100 degree day, a large and diverse crowd gathered to listen and dance to the Tex Mex conjunto music of this high energy band.

Jiménez, who was a member of the Texas Tornados, is a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award winner. He joined Los TexManiacs on stage in the second half of the show. His presence and performance was warmly greeted by the crowd.
