Austin Lyric Opera’s production of Donnizetti’s Lucia Di Lammermoor was another rousing success. The cast was superb, especially international star soprano Lyubov Petrova, who played the role of Lucia. The “mad scene” was chilling and her voice was simply amazing.
Though I am not an opera critic, this is one of my favorite productions that I have experienced while working as the photographer for Austin Lyric Opera. Here is a link to a slide show of images from the opera.
