Austin High School senior Archer Hadley (center), as part of a graduation project, raised over $80,000 to install handicapped accessable doors at the school. His project challenged participants to navigate the doors and hallways of the school while in a wheelchair. The financial goal was more than doubled. Monday January 5, 2015, Austin High hosted a dedication ceremony and a celebration of Archer’s achievement. Texas Governor Elect Gregg Abbott (left) attended the event. He and Archer were the first to use the new door.
