This morning, I had the privilege of photographing a ceremony at the Texas State Cemetery honoring the veterans of the Texas Revolution.  Eighteen Republic of Texas veterans are buried here. The event marked the 179th anniversary of the signing of the Texas Declaration of Independence.  Re enactors dressed in period attire, fired a musket volley to mark the historic occasion. I join them in offering “three cheers for Texas.”
