A record crowd attended the 2016 Rodeo Austin Cowboy Breakfast, Friday morning at the Long Center in downtown Austin. The event was sponsored by Farm Credit Bank.
People were treated to biscuits and gravy, pancakes, donuts and other delicious foods. Musical entertainment was provided by Lohman’s Crossing. Also appearing were trick roper Kevin Fitzpatrick, and chainsaw artist Doug Moreland.
The cowboy breakfast marks the start of the Star of Texas Fair and Rodeo, which runs from March 4 – 26, 2016. As they say, Rodeo Austin is where weird meets western.
